DETROIT (WWJ) -- There's an update in the case of a child who went missing on Detroit's east side last week.
According to the Detroit Police Department, 12-year-old Arleyah Mullen left her home in the 2100 block of E. Willis, near St. Aubin Street on Wednesday, March 20.
The pre-teen did not have permission to go out, police said, and was reported missing by her family when she didn't come home.
Arleyah was classified as a missing/runaway juvenile and has been missing at a handful of other times in the last couple of years.
Over the weekend, police sent an update stating that the Arleyah has been recovered and that she's OK.
No further information was released.
