TROY (WWJ) - There's good news in the search for a missing woman in Troy.
Troy Police on Thursday asked for tips from community to track down a missing woman, who disappeared on Wednesday.
Mary Ann Schiferl, 79, lives with dementia, according to police.
Police said Schiferl drove away from her Troy home in a white 2021 Jeep Compass on Dec. 15, and was last seen wearing a black coat with fur around the hood.
Late Thursday afternoon, police posted an update saying that Schiferl had been located and is now "safe at home."
Police did not say where she was found. No further information was released.
