Michigan State Police say missing Wayne County man with medical issues has been found safe

SUMPTER TWP (WWJ) – Michigan State Police say a man who went missing after leaving home without his medications has been found after a search this week in Wayne County.

In an Endangered Missing Advisory, now canceled, police said Chris Allan Lindley was reported last seen on Martinsville Rd in Sumpter Township on Wednesday in his blue Chevy Silverado pickup.

Police said he’s diabetic and possibly has the undiagnosed onset of Alzheimer’s or dementia. He left behind his medication and phone.

In a Friday afternoon update, MSP said Lindley was "located safe."

They did not say where he was found, and no further information was released.
