DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are asking for tips in the case of a woman who's been missing since she walked away from a local hospital over the weekend.
Gabriela Gibson, 34, was last seen leaving Ascension St. John's Hospital, in the 22100 block of Moross in Detroit, at approximately 9:42 p.m. on Saturday, July 8.
According to a family member, she suffers from mental illness, police said.
Gibson is described as a white female, 5'3'' tall and weighing around 130 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray hospital gown, and tan hospital socks.
