(WWJ) - Mort Crim was an evening news staple for many metro-Detroiters into the late 1990s.

Despite having worked in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Louisville, he is best known for anchoring the news on WDIV in Detroit from 1978-1997. These days, while Mort may spend time in an RV, he's far from retired.

On a new Daily J podcast, WWJ's Zach Clark catches up with the legendary newsman to reminisce and to look ahead to the future.
