DETROIT (WWJ) -- Michigan State Police are investigating another freeway shooting -- but it appears the victim in this case was targeted.
Deputies were contacted on Thursday night about a shooting on the Lodge Freeway in the area of Linwood and Davison, according to MSP.
A 35-year-old man told police that he was driving in the area when someone shot at him.
Two rounds struck the driver’s side door, and a bullet hit the left side of the man’s mouth.
He left the area and drove himself to the hospital. The victim is being treated for his injuries, but is refusing to cooperate with the investigation.
MSP believes the shooting was likely not random, and is continuing to investigate the situation.
