DETROIT (WWJ) Michigan State Police (MSP) are investigating a potential freeway shooting in Detroit.
MSP said the caller reported the shooting happened on Friday, May 8, around 8:40 p.m. as she was driving on the eastbound Davison ramp to I-75. She told authorities a backseat passenger of the suspect's vehicle (a gray car) shot at her car, and struck her vehicle.
The suspect's car was driving east on the Davison toward the northbound I-75 ramp, according to the caller.
No one was hurt, MSP said.
"The ramp from east Davison to I-75 was shut down for the investigation and no shell casings were located," MSP First Lieutenant Mike Shaw said. "Troopers are continuing to use technology in the area as well as other evidence to identify the suspect vehicle and determine what occurred."
