(WW) -- A months-long investigation into an alleged drug trafficking organization in the Detroit and downriver area leads to multiple search warrants and seizures.

Detectives with the Michigan State Police Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team began their investigation in the fall of 2025, according to the MSP Second District.

MNET executed six search warrants on Jan. 22. According to the MSP Second District, detectives seized 17 guns, 834 grams of cocaine, 53 grams of crystal methamphetamine, over 14 pounds of marijuana and “an amount of MDMA.”

Three vehicles and over $77,000 were also seized with intent to forfeit.

The operation was supported by a grant issued by the U.S. Department of Justice and administered by the MSP.

Several multi-jurisdictional task forces, the MSP Emergency Support Team and uniformed personnel, Downriver SWAT and the Taylor Police Department worked with MNET to conduct the operation.

The investigation is ongoing.
