(WWJ) Michigan State Police investigators want to speak with a driver who may have witnessed a tragic crash that killed two children, earlier this month in Ingham County.
According to MSP, 12-year-old Calvin and 13-year-old Karalee were riding their bikes on the shoulder of Grand River near Williamston on Saturday, Sept. 5.
A Ford Explorer, driven by a 64-year-old Willamston woman, hit the pair.
Calvin was pronounced dead on the scene. Karalee died five days later in the hospital, police said.
Police released the picture of a white pickup truck that was in the area at the time of the crash, and may have been behind the SUV that hit the kids.
Police believe that the pickup driver may have witnessed the crash and could offer information that could help with the ongoing investigation.
Anyone who may know the person who drives the pictured pickup, or if you are that person, you're asked to call the MSP Lansing Post at 517-322-1907.
