CADILLAC (WWJ) -- Does anyone recognize this man?

The Michigan State Police Seventh District is asking for tips to identify him in connection with an incident in a Meijer parking lot over the summer.

At around 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, troopers with the MSP Cadillac Post were called to the Meijer store on E. 34th Rd. in Cadillac on a report that a vehicle parked outside the store had been keyed.

Police said video surveillance from Meijer showed a man walking next to the victim’s vehicle before getting into a pickup truck and leaving the scene.

On Monday, police released photos of this person of interest, whom they have not yet been able to identify, taken from the video footage.

The person seen in the video is an older, "heavier set" white male with gray hair and glasses, around 5’8” to 5’10” tall. He was wearing a white t-shirt and khaki shorts and was seen getting into a black, newer model Ford F-150.

Anyone who knows this man, or who has any other information that could help police with this case, is asked to call the Gaylord Area Regional Dispatch at 989-732-5141 or the MSP Cadillac Post at 231-779-6040.

It's unclear why the victim's vehicle may have been targeted.
