(WWJ) The fifth Shake Shack in Michigan will open next week in Rochester Hills.
Marketed as a modern day “roadside” burger stand, the fast casual chain restaurant is known for its Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches, flat-top Vienna beef dogs, frozen custard, crinkle cut fries... and hand-spun shakes, of course. They also serve craft beer and wine.
The new location will open Monday, October 18 at 11 a.m. at The Village of Rochester Hills. The Village of Rochester Hills, an outdoor mall located at 66 N. Adams Rd., at Walton Blvd.
As part of the Rochester Hills opening, Shake Shack will donate a dollar for every burger sold on opening day to Grace Centers of Hope, which provides long-term life skills programs for those afflicted by homelessness, addiction, and abuse in Southeast Michigan
There are a lot of options to for patrons, as this location will feature indoor dining, an outdoor patio, a traditional drive-thru, and the "Shack Track walk-up window."
Guests can preorder via the app or website and then pickup up their food at the drive-up window, walk-up window, curbside pick-up or in-Shack pick-up shelves.

Along with the usual fare, Shack will also open with some limited time items, including a Black Truffle Burger featuring a Gruyere cheeseburger, topped with a sauce made from organic black truffle olive oil and crispy shallots on a toasted potato bun as well as Parmesan Garlic Fries with Black Truffle Sauce.
