No, he's not mad ... It's just his face.
That's what an Ohio shelter had to say about their resident grumpy cat, who is not in fact grumpy at all.
It's just his face.
Despite his perma-scowl, this cat is so delightful that they named him Giggles.
"For those who don’t know Giggles story, he’s not mad, he’s actually quite happy, sweet and charming," Riggi Rescue wrote on Instagram Monday. "He was surrendered by a Good Samaritan with several ticks on him and a mild bite wound. If he’s angry about anything, it’s because you aren’t petting him."
Giggles and his furry scowl got so much attention that rescuers made a Facebook page in his honor and they're using it to raise funds for fellow rescue animals. They updated Giggles' story on a post, saying he quickly found his own furrever home.
"My life has changed a lot in the last few weeks," Riggi Rescue wrote about Giggles. "I went from doing my thing on the streets, picking up ticks, getting in fights, basically just upping my street cred... to being snuggled up and kissed on, neutered (ouch, but thanks Dr. Meyer!), vaccinated, and now most importantly, I have a warm safe home of my own."
And that's something none of us can be mad about.
