DETROIT (WWJ) - A quadruple shooting in downtown Detroit killed one person and hurt three others around midnight on Saturday, police said.

The Detroit Police Department confirmed the shooting, which erupted in the area of Randolph Street and Monroe Street. Four adults were struck by gunfire, killing one.

The conditions of the other three victims were not released by police.

Detectives say one person is currently in custody for questioning in connection to the crime, but other details, such a motive for the shooting, are unclear.

Police are continuing to investigate the fatal incident. No other information was made available.
