DEARBORN (WWJ) -- Two Dearborn men face a slew of felony charges for a double shooting at a local strip club.
The Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office approved a 16-count complaint, including attempted murder charges, against Khalil Elgarmi and Izeddine Elgarmi in connection with the incident at BT’s Gentlemen’s Club in Dearborn over the weekend.
The charges include Assault with Intent to Murder, Assault with Intent to Do Great Bodily Harm Less Than Murder, Felonious Assault and Felony Firearm.

According to Dearborn Police, shots rang out at around 12:40 a.m. Saturday at the club, in the 14000 block of Michigan Ave., near Schaefer.
Responding officers found two people wounded, including a 34 year-old victim who was taken to a hospital in critical condition. A 50-year-od victim was treated at the hospital and released.
The shooters fled the scene, however, the Dearborn PD said, "Patrol officers, investigators and plain-clothed officers worked diligently to scour evidence and locate the suspects."
Khalil and Izeddine Elgarmi were arrested at around 5 a.m. the same day.
While police have not publicly discussed a motive for the shooting, the department said investigators were able to determine that it was not random.
Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad added, in a statement, “As I’ve said before, we will not tolerate this type of abhorrent behavior. These individuals were apprehended quickly due to a total team effort by our officers and the department’s ability to rapidly deploy necessary resources for critical events.”
