WARREN, Mich. (WWJ) – A manhunt is underway after a shooting in a gas station parking lot in Warren Wednesday afternoon.
Police have not released many details about the shooting, but have confirmed to WWJ a 46-year-old man was killed at the Marathon Station on Ryan Road near Jarvis, between 8 and 9 Mile shortly before 3 p.m.
Police officials said the suspect was seen fleeing the gas station in a vehicle. Authorities did not provide a description of the suspect's vehicle.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the shooting, or how many people were involved.
Sean, a resident who lives near the gas station told WWJ's Jon Hewett the shooting was captured on his home surveillance system. Warren police say they have other video evidence of the incident.
Sean said it was "an incident I shouldn't have seen." While the video didn't capture the shooter, he says he saw the victim fall to the ground.
Warren police officials told WWJ they had information on a possible suspect, but no arrests had been made.
