(WWJ) Michigan State Police are investigating a deadly, single-car crash in Livingston County.
It happened around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Conway Twp., which is just north of Fowlerville.
Investigators with the MSP Brighton Post say 53-year-old Armin Phillips of Fowlerville was driving southbound on Owosso Road when he cross the center line and hit a tree on the opposite side of the road.
It appears he was not wearing a seatbelt. police said.
No other vehicle were involved, police said, and no one else was hurt.
It's not clear what may have caused Phillips to lose control of his vehicle. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
