HAZEL PARK (WWJ) - Police are investigating a possible “smash and grab” at a Hazel Park marijuana dispensary.
The incident occurred late Thursday night or early Friday morning at Jars Cannabis at Dequindre and 8 Mile, authorities said.
WWJ’s Charlie Langton was told by police at the scene that a sedan, possibly a Chrysler 300, crashed into the back of the dispensary, creating a large hole. The car was allegedly occupied by seven men.
It isn’t known at this time if any of the products in the dispensary were taken.
There were no injuries reported, but there was a lot of damage to the building.
