Clawson police investigating deadly shooting, 2 suspects in custody, one on the loose

(WWJ) Clawson police have two people in custody and are searching for a third after a deadly shooting late Thursday night.

Police were called to a home near 14 Mile and Renshaw where a man was found with a gun shot wound.  He was taken to Corewell William Beaumont Hospital but died.

Police aren't releasing any motive or any information about the two suspects in custody.

The third suspect wanted by police is Talaj Clark-Spencer, who is a Black male, 6'5" and 200 pounds.

Police and SWAT members surrounded a home on Butternut Avenue south of Starr Jaycee Park in Royal Oak early Friday morning in hopes of finding him. However, after a few hours, police determined no one was inside and they cleared the scene.

WWJ reporter Charlie Langton says police with guns drawn were in the neighborhood south of the park. Yellow police caution tape was up near Royal Avenue and Cedar Drive.
