Police searching for missing 16-year-old girl last seen in March at Federation of Youth Services in Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) -- The Detroit Police Department if asking for tips in the case of a teenager who's been missing since March.

According to police, 16-year-old A'lisia Armstrong was last seen on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Federation of Youth Services, having a visit with her mother and siblings.


According to the website for the nonprofit organization, located at 548 E Grand Blvd. in Detroit, Federation of Youth is a private, 501(c)(3), State of Michigan licensed child care agency which provides services to at-risk youth.

Police said Armstrong discharged from the program on that date, and that her case worker has not been able to get in contact with her since that time.

Armstrong is described as a Black female, 5'2'' tall and weighing around 116 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.

There is no description of her clothing when she was last seen.
