
FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) A man shot and killed his brother in Farmington Hills, according to police.
Farmington Hills Police told WWJ their mother called to report a domestic violence incident, telling officers that her two sons, 28 and 30, got into a verbal argument and the older brother shot the younger brother.
When officers arrived to the scene; they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the chest, police said. The shooting happened Saturday (5/25) around 3:30 p.m. on a residential street in the area of 11 Mile and Halsted.
The suspect fled the scene.
Police said he’s considered “armed and dangerous,” but do not believe he poses a threat to the Farmington Hills community.
They said they have deployed multiple officers, K9 units, AVs and drones to aid in the search for him.
The victim was transferred to Corewell Hospital where he died from his injuries.
The names of the victim and the suspect have not been released.
