Police release information on victim stabbed to death at Livonia crosswalk

LIVONIA (WWJ) Police are releasing new information about the victim of a deadly stabbing at a Livonia crosswalk.

Police say the man killed was 23 years old and from Oklahoma. His name has not been released.

He was stabbed in the chest after he exchanged words with the two suspects at the crosswalk at the Plymouth and Middlebelt intersection around 5:20 a.m. Tuesday, according to police.

The suspects remain on the run. One was described as wearing a mask, and both had black hoodies on. Livonia authorities say the suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.

It is not known why the victim was in Michigan, and if he had any relationship with the suspects.
