DETROIT (WWJ) Detroit Police are searching for two suspects who broke into multiple businesses on the city’s west side.
Police said two burglaries happened on December 28, 2024 within an hour and a half of each other. The first one was a clothing store on McNichols near the Lodge around 5:24 a.m.
The second was a liquor store on Lahser near 8 Mile, about 5 miles away from the first business, at 7:00 a.m. In both incidents; police said the two men stole merchandise and money, including alcohol at the liquor store, and fled in a black or dark grey Jeep Grand Cherokee.
According to police; the suspects broke into another liquor store on January 2 on 8 Mile, near Hoover, around 3:26 a.m. and again stole alcohol, before driving away in their Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Suspect #1 is described as about 6’1”-6’2”.
Suspect 2 is described as 5’10”-6’ with a heavy set build.
