WEST BRANCH (WWJ) -- A prisoner who escaped from a mid-Michigan medical center is still on the run.
Michigan State Police have been searching for Caden Daniel Schank since Sunday morning.
The 19-year-old apparently fled from the MidMichigan Medical Center, located on M-30 near I-75 in West Branch, just after 10:30 a.m. on August 22.
Schanck is described by police as being 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds, with blond hair and hazel eyes.
At the time he was last seen, Schanck was wearing a white button-down shirt, white shorts, and brown shoes.
Police believe that the suspect may have left the West Branch area and could currently be in Oscoda County.
Schanck is not believed to be a danger to the public.
