Police searching for 72-year-old Detroit woman who hasn't returned home in three days

Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing 72-year-old woman after she was last seen leaving her home in Detroit on Wednesday.

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing 72-year-old woman who never returned to her Detroit home on Wednesday.

Shirleen Ryan, 72, disappeared the afternoon of March 29th from the 17600 block of Mound Road, Detroit police said.

Ryan was last seen around 4 p.m. and did not come back to her home in the 9300 block of W. Outer Drive.

According to police, the 72-year-old woman was wearing a black jacket at the time of her disappearance -- no other clothing descriptions were provided.

Ryan is described as a Black female standing 5' 7" tall and weighing apporximently 160lbs. She has black hair and brown eyes. She has no known identifying marks, scars or tattoos.
