(WWJ) The Detroit Police Department is asking for help from the community to identify a suspect and vehicle in connection with a hit-and-run crash in the city's arena district.
The night of Sunday, June 20, police said a 56-year-old man was riding his bicycle northbound on Brush Street at Montcalm, near Comerica Park and Ford Field.
At around 9:50 p.m., the victim was hit by an unknown suspect driving an an SUV, and was critically injured.
The SUV driver then fled the scene, police said.
As the 56-year-old victim remains in critical condition at a local hospital, police on Wednesday released surveilence video of the incident.
