DETROIT (WWJ) The County of Macomb Enforcement Team (COMET) seized nearly half-a-million dollars of crystal meth.
According to Michigan State Police (MSP), detectives seized over 107 pounds of crystal meth during the execution of a search warrant in Detroit and other unnamed communities.
The street value came out to about $480,000, MSP said in a social media post.
COMET was assisted by by the Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team, MSP's 2nd District Headquarters, the Metro South Post; the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF); and Border Patrol.
Michigan State Police is continuing the investigation.
