PONTIAC (WWJ) — An investigation is underway after a Pontiac businessman was found dead at his business Monday night.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office says 66-year-old Sam Simko, a Commerce Township resident, was found dead at his business in the 1000 block of University Drive near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
The sheriff’s office did not identify Simko’s business.
Officials said Simko’s business partner found him shot to death just after 8:15 p.m. on Jan. 13. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy was planned for Tuesday, according to the sheriff’s office.
Authorities have not released any information about a possible motive or suspect in Simko’s death.
