(WWJ) The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is searching for a pair of suspects in a drive-by shooting in Pontiac.

According to investigators, four people were in the home, in the 700 block of St. Clair Street, early Monday morning when it was targeted by gunfire.

Deputies responded just before 3 a.m. and met with a 29-year-old Pontiac woman who reported that she and her family were sleeping when she heard multiple gunshots. She then heard a vehicle driving away.

No one inside the home — including the woman, a 31-year-old Pontiac man, a 7-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy — was injured.

Deputies said they found spent shell casings outside the home, as well as spent rounds inside. Deputies canvassed the area and found the suspects' vehicle unoccupied and parked, with spent shell casings inside behind the driver's seat.

OCSO detectives are still searching for two suspects: a 29-year-old Pontiac man and a 31-year-old Pontiac man. Their names were not released.

As for a motive, the woman told deputies that the father of her children has had an ongoing issue with some people in the neighborhood.

The investigation is ongoing.
