Port Huron man facing charges stemming from alleged domestic dispute

(WWJ) - Authorities say a Port Huron man has been charged after an alleged "domestic disturbance."

St. Clair County Sheriff’s deputies were called to an address in the Port of Call mobile home park in Port Huron on the evening of Jan. 12. Deputies said they were called for a possible domestic disturbance.

Reports said the “male in the home had a weapon and was not letting others in the home leave,” according to authorities.

After the officers were able to confirm the occupants of the house, the St. Clair County Special Response Team was called to assist.

25-year-old Jordan Connick of Port Huron was taken into custody “without issue” after he exited the home.

St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office said Connick has been charged with felony weapons offense and assault and battery.

Connick is currently at the St. Clair County Detention and Intervention Center on a $30,000 bond, according to authorities.
