FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) -- A motorcyclist is dead after a crash Tuesday night in Farmington Hills.
According to Farmington Hills Police, the 32-year old biker from Redford Township crashed into a Ford Explorer SUV at around 10 p.m., at the intersection of 8 Mile Rd. and Grand River Ave.
The motorcyclist, who wasn't wearing a helmet, was taken by EMS to a local hospital where he died, police said. His name was not released.
The 21-year old Novi man who was driving the SUV was questioned by police at the scene, and was released pending further investigation.
While it's not yet clear who was at fault for the crash, police said alcohol or drugs are not believed to have been a factor.
