PORT HURON, Mich. (WWJ) -- A water rescue is underway in Port Huron after a person reportedly went under the water and did not resurface late Monday afternoon.
Rescue crews responded to the scene on the St. Clair River near the Thomas Edison Parkway -- south of the Blue Water Bridge -- after a witness reported seeing someone in the water around 5 p.m. who did not resurface, according to a report from WPHM in Port Huron.
The search was being led by members of the St. Clair County Dive Team, Port Huron Police and Port Huron Fire Departments.
Authorities have not released any details about the person who is missing.
