Police have put a hard stop on a problem plaguing some downriver communities with a recent arrest.
A 45-year-old River Rouge man was arrested for defecating on a busy thoroughfare -- Pennsylvania Avenue west of Fort Street --in Riverview.
Drivers said the man dropped trough in front of passersby and cars full of passengers, including children.
He was arrested for disorderly conduct and is considered a suspect in several other public pooping incidents.
Last month, police in Warren said they were trying to find a man caught on camera pooping in vehicles at two different auto shops. The first happened just after midnight back in November at Friendly Auto, the second time on February 3rd just after 5 A.M. at Twins Tire.
