MACOMB COUNTY (WWJ) - Authorities in Shelby Township are searching for those responsible for bashing in several windshields since the beginning of the month -- and they're turning to the public for help.
The Shelby Township Police Department said several incidents of smashed in windshields have been reported in the area of 24 Mile and Schoenherr in the last two weeks and the person -- or persons -- behind it have yet to be caught.
"Do you know who has been doing this??" The department asked in a social media post with a photo of a white vehicle with heavy damage to its windshield.
"We are looking for any video footage or information as to who is responsible for this," authorities added.
Social media reaction was swift, with many sharing the post. One user stated similar incidents reportedly happened in Macomb Township about a week ago.
