(WWJ) Does the cold winter weather in Michigan make you feel down?
If you are like a lot of people, you're thinking about that next vacation to help beat those winter blues.
Vice President of Travel Michigan, David Lorenz, says travel is good for you in so many ways.
"Travel introduces us to people and places," Lorenz said. "It opens up our minds to new cultures, new beliefs and gets us to accept others like nothing else can.”
Warmer climates could be what you are thinking, but what about a vacation here in Michigan? It may not Florida or the Bahamas, Michigan is packed with cool spots you may not have considered... and a road trip will likely cost you a lot less.
On this week’s episode of “On the Road with Rob”, Lorenz sat down with podcast host, Rob Wlasuk, to discuss several travel destinations across the state of Michigan — from the Northern Lights in the Upper Peninsula, to cross country skiing in Western Michigan.
