(WWJ) There's good news in the case of an elderly man who was missing for about a day in Macomb County.
Shelby Township police say 84-year-old Archibald McIntyre has been recovered and is safe.
Police asked for help to find the man, who was last seen in Ray Township mid-day on Thursday, driving his brown 2014 Chrysler Town and Country mini-van.
McIntyre was heading to his home in the area of 24 Mile Rd. and Shelby Rd., and never arrived. Police worried that he had become confused and was not likely to ask for help or directions.
In the update sent by police Friday afternoon, they did not say where or how McIntyre was located, but added: "Thank you for all your help!"
No further details were released.
