Shooting in Grand Rapids leaves man in critical condition

GRAND RAPIDS (WWJ) A shooting on Grand Rapids' northwest side left a man in critical condition.

Grand Rapids Police said officers responded to reports of gunfire in a neighborhood on McReynolds near Stocking Avenue on Sunday (10/27) around 2 a.m. Officers found evidence of a shooting, but no victims. They later learned a man who had been shot was driven to a hospital via private transport.

There’s no word on a motive for the shooting or the circumstances leading up to it.

The victim’s age and identity have not been released. No suspect information was given.
