DETROIT (WWJ) -- One person was arrested after an offer-involved shooting, late Tuesday morning at Detroit's border with Highland Park.
Officials said no one was injured in the shooting. at around 11 a.m. on Arizona Street in the the area of Woodward Ave. and McNichols.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office told WWJ Newsradio 950 that deputies with the WCSO narcotics unit were conducting surveillance at an alleged drug house, when a man they were investigating got into a pickup truck.
The deputies identified themselves as police and tried stopping the suspect, who proceeded to ignore them, and then allegedly rammed a squad car.

The deputies managed to get the suspect out of the truck by breaking the glass, and then used a Taser to stun him.
The 61-year-old man was reportedly smoking crack, a WCSO spokesperson said.
The suspect was arrested, and taken to a hospital to be checked out.
Charges are pending.
