DETROIT (WWJ) – An investigation is underway after a small, fixed wing, single-engine plane crash landed in the backyard of a Detroit home on Wednesday.
Detroit police officials say the plane had two people onboard and there were no major injuries, according to multiple reports.
The crash happened shortly before 9 p.m. on the city's east side near Denby High School.
There is no info on what caused the crash, but the plane is reportedly privately owned out of Grosse Pointe Shores.
