(WWJ) -- Due to COVID-19, SMART Bus is scaling back on some of its services.
The increase of cases has led to a worker shortage, with the company currently down at least 80 drivers.
SMART Bus said their operations have been at about 75% of their pre-pandemic service levels.
Up to 25% of their daily service is delayed or canceled, as well.
The company said that service is being adjusted throughout the day to ensure people have the information they need to ride. Because of the extreme winter temperature, they also advise people to check on the status of their bus before waiting at the stop.
SMART Bus routes that have undergone changes include:
210 Michigan Westland
250 Ford Road
415 Greenfield
525 Groesbeck
760 Thirteen / Fourteen Mile
790 Pontiac Crosstown
