(WWJ) As October nears, 12-foot skeletons are appearing up on front lawns, and Spirit Halloween stores are popping up in strip malls across Metro Detroit and the U.S.
In November, however, something much merrier is on the way.
"Spirit Christmas" has officially kicked off the holiday countdown, announcing the opening of its 2025 season with 30 locations across the Northeast and Great Lakes regions, nearly quadrupling its footprint from last year, according to the company.
These pop-up stores, an expansion of the Spirit Halloween concept, will be located inside some of the existing Spirit Halloween locations.
So far, there are two "Spirit Christmas" stores planned in Michigan:
In Novi at the West Oaks Shopping Center (43570 W Oaks Dr), next to Kohl's.
And in Grand Rapids, inside a former JoAnn Fabrics store at The Shops at Centerpoint (3665 28th St SE).

They're expected to open in early November.
If you can't wait to get shopping, the company says it has 1,500 Spirit Halloween locations open nationwide for the 2025 spooky season.
