
ROMULUS (WWJ) — A suspect is in custody after a triple shooting at a Romulus bar overnight left one person dead and two others injured.
Romulus police officers were called to the Luxury Nightz Bar & Grill near Merriman and Van Born around 1:30 p.m. for a parking complaint, according to a report from Fox 2.
Moments later, gunfire erupted inside the building, according to the report.
Police officials say three people were shot, including a Detroit resident who was killed. Victims from Westland and Shelby Township were taken to the hospital, according to Fox 2.
The hospitalized victims’ conditions were not known.
While a suspect was taken into custody, authorities have not released any information about the shooter.
A possible motive in the shooting was not immediately clear. Authorities did not say whether the shooting was related to the reported parking dispute.
