WAYNE COUNTY (WWJ) - Authorities are searching for a man wanted in connection with a shooting that left one person dead on the city's east side Tuesday afternoon.
Detroit police identified the suspect as Nashawn Ali, who carried out the fatal shooting at a residence on Bloom Street, in the area of Mound and Davidson.
Reports said Ali shot his sister in the face.

According to police, Ali was put out of the home earlier on Tuesday, but he later returned and shot and killed the victim.
The investigation remains ongoing and no further details were released.
