Police searching for 2 suspects after person stabbed multiple times outside dorm at Oakland University

AUBURN HILLS (WWJ) -- Two suspects remained on the run on Friday after a stabbing outside a dormitory building at Oakland University in Auburn Hills.

OU Police Chief Mark Gordon said it all started with a fight on campus, near the Van Wagoner House, between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

Gordon said, after the assault, both suspects jumped into a dark-colored SUV and fled the scene.

One suspect was described as a man in his early 20s, between 5'8'' and 5'10'' tall. He has chin-length dreadlocks and wore a black North Face jacket with white shoes.

The other suspect was a in his early 20s with curly hair. He wore a camo jacket with a black hood and black shoes.

Gordon said the victim — who is not an OU student — suffered multiple stab wounds and was headed for surgery late Thursday night. There is no word on the victim's condition at this time.

It's unclear what led up to the stabbing, or why it happened where it did. amd police have not released any further information about the victim,

Oakland University has since lifted a campus-wide lockdown, and classes are continuing as scheduled on Friday.
