Suspect injured in trooper-involved shooting in Macomb County: MSP

BRUCE TWP (WWJ) A suspect was injured in a shooting involving a Michigan State Police trooper in Macomb County, police said.

In a social media post; State Police (MSP) said the shooting happened in Bruce Township at Van Dyke and 35 Mile on Sunday, March 16, around 4 p.m.

Authorities have not released the circumstances leading up to the shooting.

No troopers were injured.

According to MSP, gunfire struck the suspect in the leg. The suspect's condition was not released.
