
DETROIT (WWJ) — Authorities are asking for help identifying a man accused of robbing another man on Detroit’s west side late last month.
The robbery happened around 2:20 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30 in the area of Grand River and Hubbell, according to the Detroit Police Department.
The armed suspect allegedly approached a 25-year-old man and announced a robbery, officials said. The suspect got away with the victim’s money and keys.
DPD officials on Tuesday released photos of the suspect, wearing a black ski mask, a black Detroit Lions hooded sweatshirt, light colored pants and dark shoes. No other description of the suspect was released.
Officials are asking anyone who recognizes him or knows something about the robbery to call the DPD’s 2nd Precinct at 313-596-5240, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP or submit a tip online at DetroitRewards.tv.
Detroit Rewards TV is offering a cash reward of $500 for tips that lead to the suspect’s arrest.
All Crime Stoppers and Detroit Rewards TV tipsters will remain anonymous.
