DEARBORN HEIGHTS (WWJ) Police have arrested a suspect in a double shooting at a Dearborn Heights home-- whom they called "armed and dangerous."
Dearborn Heights Police said it happened on Weddell (4100 block), in the area of Pelham and Outer Drive, on Sunday, May 18. Officers were called to the home around 10:30 a.m. on reports of multiple shots fired.
Officers arrived and found a man and a woman who had been shot, "apparently by the woman's ex-boyfriend," police said.
The suspect was identified as Ashante Linelli-Ramon Mcafee. According to police, he fled the crime scene in a white Ford F-150.
The conditions of the victims were not released.
Police released an update around 4:30 p.m. saying Mcafee had been arrested, but did not give further details.
