Detroit Police seek public's help to identify driver in fatal hit-and-run on city’s west side

DETROIT (WWJ) Detroit Police are searching for a suspect in a deadly hit-and-run on the city’s west side.

Police said a man, 45, was attempting to cross the street when he was struck by an unknown suspect driving an older model gray sedan, killing him.

It happened on Sunday, February 2, around 9:53 p.m.—at Evergreen and Schoolcraft.

The suspect’s vehicle will have front end damage from the crash, police said.
