TROY (WWJ) -- Two men were arraigned in relation to a recent burglary at a Troy liquor store, but authorities said they may be responsible for others.
Investigators with the Troy Police Special Investigations Unit were in the area of Long Lake Road and Livernois in the early hours of Oct. 12. They saw "apparent signs of a break in" at Bootleg Liquor Store and approached the building.
According to a Troy Police Department press release, 30-year-old Jayvon Emmanuel Lindsley and 28-year-old Keith Emmanule Collins fled while the investigators were on scene. They were later stopped on southbound I-75 near Rochester Road and arrested.
Evidence of the burglary was reportedly found in their car.
Lindsley and Collins were both arraigned in 52-4 District Court on Oct. 13. They were charged with possession of burglary tools with intent to steal from a structure, breaking and entering a building with intent and malicious destruction of building.
Collins' bond was set at $200,000 and Lindsley's is $150,000.
The Warren Police Department charged the pair after the arrest with breaking and entering with intent and larceny.
Investigators said they think the suspects may be connected to other break ins in surrounding communities. Additional charges could be filed.
