The victim was eventually able to escape in the area of Beech Daly Rd. and Leroy, where she jumped out of the car and ran for help.

Officials said Dickens fled the area, but was tracked down by Taylor Police and taken into custody on Tuesday.

Dickens is charged with Unlawful Imprisonment, Assault with Intent to do Great Bodily Harm, Domestic Violence, Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person, and four counts of Felony Firearm.

He was arraigned in 23rd District Court Thursday afternoon and received a $200,000 cash bond with a GPS tether. If released on bond, he was ordered to cannot contact the victim, cannot used alcohol or drugs, and cannot possess firearms.

Dickens will be back in court for a Probable Cause Conference scheduled for Oct. 6.
