TAYLOR (WWJ) -- A Taylor man is dead and his ex-girlfriend is in custody after an early morning stabbing.
Taylor Police said officers responded to the Taylor Park Townhomes on Elm Street, just after 4 a.m. Thursday, and found the 25-year old victim lying unresponsive next to a vehicle.
He was pronounced dead by EMS at the scene.
The investigation led police to the victim's former girlfriend, who was tracked to the area of McNichols and Telegraph Rd. in Detroit, near where she lives.
She sped away, but was found in a church parking lot, hiding behind a bush, with help from Detroit police and Michigan State Police canine units and helicopter.
There's no information about what led up to the stabbing.
Charges are pending.
